Delaware Youth Medical Academy

Delaware Youth Medical Academy is a merit-based program of the Academy’s Delaware Mini Medical School initiative for middle, junior, and high school students. Membership is earned through participation in Mini Medical School, not by applying directly.

Who is eligible
  • Middle, junior, and high school students
  • Delaware residents, or those living within one hour of the Delaware border
How to become a member

Attend a complete Mini Medical School series. All 5 or 6 sessions of a single series. See upcoming series

Receive the application form. After completing a full series, the DYMA application is emailed to you.

Author a reflection paper. The specifics change from series to series, and will not be released in advance.

Members receive a DYMA sticker, e-book, and membership pin.

Definitions

A series is comprised of 5 or 6 sessions held in sequence. A session is a one-evening educational unit.
